The commissions are finishing their initial work and submitting texts to the assembly. Then we have long sessions going over the documents, making ammendments and voting on the revised texts. This afternoon and evening is the Commission on Mission. The meetings in the entire assembly are long and sometimes tedious (the room is very hot), but it is good to see things moving forward... there is a feeling of accomplishment.
Also today, the television station of the Italian Episcopal Conference, Salt2000, is coming to interview us and show off the church and our chapter. They will televise it worldwide, so stay tuned... We also too the "official photo" of the chapter during a coffee break. Here it iss below, but, sorry, I could not make it "clickable."
This is the feast of St. James, patron of the provinces of Spain and Mexico.
