It was a great day of joy and thanks for Ibn-e-Mariam Vice Province of Pakistan as six of its brothers celebrated their Priestly Ordination Anniversary. Five Friars including Fr. Patrick Peter (Novice Master), Fr Akhtar Naveed (teaching staff member at pastoral Institute), Fr. Jamshed Albert (Director of Pastoral Institute), Fr. Pascal Paulus (Prior Vice Provincial), and Fr. Younas Shahzad (Parish Priest of Holy Rosary Parish Warispura) celebrated 21st Priestly Anniversary along with Fr Almas Silas (Parish Priest of Sacred Heart Parish Sahiwal) who celebrated his 5th Priestly Ordination Anniversary.

A thanksgiving Mass presided over by Fr Patrick was celebrated in the Chapel of Pastoral Institute Multan. Fr Younas Shahzad in his homily said that what we are today is due to the Dominican Order which nurtured our vocation, gave us a new identity and trusting upon us gave us very important responsibilities. We, on the other hand, have been putting our heart and soul in the services of the Church and Dominican Order in Pakistan.

At the end of the ceremony a cake was cut in the presence of Fr Gerard, Socius of the Master of the Order, Fr. Bruno Cadoré from Santa Sabina Rome who is in Pakistan for his official trip of one week and also giving the Annual Retreat to the Dominican Friars.

Fr. Pascal Paulus admired all six friars for their untiring services and thanked them for their dedication and faithfulness in their ministries. Fr. Gerard is doing his best and sharing his thought provoking and inspirational ideas in the retreat.
