Dominican Family Vocations Day in Ireland

Dominican Family Vocations Day Poster

The fifth annual 'Dominican Family Vocations Day' in Ireland takes place on Saturday, March 2nd, at St Saviour's Priory, Dublin.

This event, organised by four branches of the Dominican Family - friars, sisters, nuns and laity - has been considered a success in giving participants an exposure to Dominican life, work and and spirituality that is both rich and broad, since the vocations day began several years ago.

It is designed to help men and women with a serious interest in any of the four branches of the Order with their ongoing discernment.

Participants have opportunities to hear personal vocation stories from each brand of the Dominican Order, to talk about the Dominican vocation and pose questions.

The day is punctuated with periods of liturgical prayer - Divine Office and Mass.

Those interested in participating in the day should make contact with any of the following Dominicans:

Sr Mairead (Contemplative Nuns):

Fr Gerard (friars):

Ms Patricia Kelly (Lay Dominicans/Tertiaries):

Sr Kathleen (Apostolic Sisters):
