Dominicana, the journal of the Dominican student brothers in Washington, DC, has recently released a new website: www.dominicanajournal.com.
Dominicana is a semi-annual journal of theology, philosophy, and culture published by the student brothers of the Dominican Province of Saint Joseph. The journal offers articles and commentary on a wide array of topics from a Dominican, contemplative perspective. It features essays, spiritual reflections, debates, interviews, short fiction, book reviews, poetry, and more. Founded in 1916 at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, DC, the journal originally ran until 1968, and was refounded in 2011.
The brothers are currently working on the Winter 2012 issue. From fiction to theology, interviews to book reviews, debates to poetry, each issue of Dominicana strives to offer its readers a uniquely contemplative and Dominican perspective on an expansive array of topics. Print subscriptions are available for individuals, libraries and academic institutions, and monasteries and religious houses.
