Our Youth Program is for youth from 7th grade through high school. They regularly meet on Wednesday and Friday from 7 to 9pm and occasionally on Saturday's. The group works with the community to build relationships, develops wholesome activies and encourages spirutality through youth ministry. The components of youth ministry are creating community; justice and service; enablement; advocacy; family; word; worship; and multiculturalism. The youth meetings are held in English and Spanish. The parish has religious education on Tuesday's and Thursday's. On Tuesday religious education is held in english from 7:00 to 8:30pm. Members develop their Christian discipleship or spirituality around education and action within the parish and in service within the community.
On Thursday's the parish provides an RCIA (Rites of Christian Initiation for Adults) process in Spanish, where adults who have not been baptized or completed their initial sacraments (first eucharist and confirmation) may receive the necessary preparation to do so. This process takes place from 7:00 to 8:30pm.
The purpose of this Society is to forward the interest of our religion by a spirit of true Christian charity and interest in all spiritual necessities of Holy Rosary Church. The regular meetings of the Society are held on the second Sunday of each month after the 9:30am mass, except during July and August.
The society promotes the spiritual welfare of the men in the parish by encouraging and assisting them to observe the practices of the Confraternity of the Most Holy Name of Jesus through the frequent reception of the Sacraments; honoring of the Most Holy Name by an active religious life, and the working against all things which offend the Most Holy Name. The regular meetings of the Society are held on the second Sunday of each month after the 9:30am Mass, except during July and August. On Wednesday evenings from 7 to 8pm they sponsor the recitation of the most Holy Rosary followed by the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the Chapel of the Church.
This program provides pastoral visits and communion calls to sick parishioners in their homes, hospitals and nursing homes. The team consists of approximately 8 lay ministers who have trained in this ministry. Anyone who is interested in sharing in this ministry, should contact Sr. Wiegand.
The Guadalupano Center at Holy Rosary/Santo Rosario, offers many programs to parishioners and neighborhood residents. The center was established by Sr. Martha Wiegand, Holy Rosary/Santo Rosario Pastoral Associate. Both educational programs and human services are provided.

Loaves and Fishes is an independent, non-profit organization that serves a hot evening meal to hungry families and individuals four nights per week. The goal of the programis to serve guests with dignity and to bring the poor in touch with the "non-poor." Anyone in need of food or hospitality is welcomed into Holy Rosary's parish hall Monday thru Thursday from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.. The program is sensitive to the many needs of the guests--such as housing, food stamps, medical attention, employment training, etc. Whenever possible, staff will make referalls so that guest can obtain the help they need.
