Bread for the Village
Holy Rosary/Santo Rosario provides parishioners and neighborhood residents free breads, rolls.
At least 60-80 families are served each week.

BACKGROUND:
This program began in 1995. Lou and Jerry
Schilling from Blaine called and wanted to know if we would like
bread and sweets every Friday. The manager of Cub Foods was in
contact with them; he wanted to find a site where they could bring
bread and sweets each week. We became a partner with Cub
Foods in the distribution of bread. The French Bakery has been a
contributor since 2000.
We also offer coffee. This
provides conversation time and a time to build relationships.
