Quilted Comforters

During our Minnesota winters, our immigrant families come to know "goose-down" comfort through the incredible generosity of many churches whose volunteers have fashioned, designed and quilted hundred of comforters for Centro Guadalupano. Our immigrant families are always grateful for their generosity and talent. They use the quilts in a variety of ways in their homes.

The following churches provide us
with comforters:

The Annunciation Quilters in Minneapolis and the Angel Quilters from St. Joseph the Worker parish in Maple Grove have specialized in making baby quilts. Each quilt has a matching stuffed animal included in the gift package.

The Women's Quilting Group from Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church and St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Edina have designed and quilted hundred of quilts of all sizes for our
neighborhood famlies.

Our sister parish, St. Bartholomew, delivers caravans of sleeping bags, polar fleece blankets, quilts, and flannel sheets to our parishioners during the winter months.
