Social Work Services

Holy Rosary/Santo Rosario Church provides a Social Worker Case Manager for parishioners and neighborhood residents free services. Inculturalization workshops for immigrants, support groups for women, and individual consultation. She is able to help you with the following:

     Clarify your presenting concerns.
     Assess the resources available to you.
     Determine your needs.
     Refer you to social service agencies.
     Assist you in completing immigration,
             medical, and other forms as needed.
     Serve as an interpreter if needed
             in medical and/or legal situations.

Actual Examples of Services Provided:

Assisted parents of new born to complete an application for a birth certificate.

Referred a woman with tooth pain to "Sharing and Caring Hands"

Assisted a young man with employment by calling different agencies and making an appointment for him with an organization that specifically assists disabled individual who are seeking employment.

Provided counseling to woman struggling in her marriage.

Referred various individuals to immigration attorney.
