The Order of Preachers prizes the common celebration of the liturgy. From the beginning, common prayer has shaped Dominican life and mission. The brothers and sisters of the Order contemplate the Word of God, celebrate the mysteries of Christ and honor the saints and blesseds who have borne witness thanks to the grace of preaching.
The liturgical books of the Order preserve and transmit this common prayer. They provide the proper texts, chants, ritual forms and directories needed for the celebration of the Eucharist, the Liturgy of the Hours and other rites according to the tradition and law of the Order.
These books are offered here as resources for Dominican communities and for those who study or assist in the liturgical life of the Order.
