Come together to support the vocations of the priesthood and the artist by attending the Fra Angelico Celebration of Art & Spirituality on Sunday evening, November 4, 2007 in the Seawell Ballroom of the Denver Center for Performing Arts. The Celebration is a fundraiser, sponsored by the Colorado Dominican Vocation Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports vocations for the Dominican Order.
The focal point of the Fra Angelico Celebration is the “Windows to the Divine” Art Exhibition and Sale, the most comprehensive juried exhibit of spiritual art in Denver to date, featuring more than 100 works by known local, regional and national artists.
One highlight of the evening is the presentation of the Fra Angelico Artist of the Year Award to Quang Ho. Considered one of the top representational artists in the country, Ho's work is well-known and admired by collectors, critics, and colleagues.
The Celebration is open to the public. Ticket prices are $50-Individual (admission at 6:30 p.m., cocktails, and supper) or $100.00-Supporter (includes reception with artists at 5:30 p.m. before show opens at 6:30 p.m., cocktails, and supper) or $250-Patron (includes reception with artists at 5:30 p.m., cocktails, supper, goody bag, and art catalogue).
