Fr. Louie Morrone, O.P.

Greetings of peace and prayers from the Dominican Novitiate in Denver, Colorado. My name is Fr. Louis Morrone and I am the novice master for the Province of St. Albert the Great. My past ministries have been as campus chaplain at Edgewood College and High School in Madison, Wisconsin, campus minister at Regis University in Denver, Colorado, and most recently as vocation director for our province. This is my second year as novice master for a great group of men who have generously responded to God's call to come and see if this is truly their vocation. You can meet them through their biographies on this site.

For those who have made the first step, it has been an incredible journey and their stories of how God has worked in each of their lives is a powerful witness to His grace alive in the world today. This first step, called the novitiate year, began for these men in July. They will be with me and the community here at St. Dominic Priory until next August. It is an important year of prayer, discernment, study, community living, and ministry. Please pray for these men and all vocations in our church.
