mar07 Outside of town lies the Martin de Porres Vocation Training Center, a vocational boarding school for the poor in Nairobi run by the Assumption Sisters of Nairobi. One of my Dominican brothers works there as a counsellor, so I was fortunate enough to get to visit.
I have been working on a new homepage for the Franciscans International & Dominicans at the United Nations in Geneva, our joint Non-Governmental Organization at the United Nations offices for human rights. I like it, but it is weird. What do you think?
Maasailand, the people and their land.
k246 Scenes around Nairobi.
The farmers' market in the Indian part of town in Nairobi.
The many layers of Kenyan society. A multimedia poem.
rainbow Karen, Kenya, setting of the book "Out of Africa" and my home for a month.

I have added rain to the page as a prayer. It is the rainy season, but the rains have yet to come. Join us in praying for rain for our thirsty land.
