Let us walk in the light

“Alleluia, alleluia on Christmas Day!”

After walking the Advent journey together with the people of Myanmar, where we have become aware of their reality that touches our hearts and gestated the need to commit ourselves to accompany them. Together with our brothers and sisters, we walk from darkness to light, because the messenger of peace is in our midst.

Let us sing and dance

“Alleluia, alleluia on Christmas Day!”

Today, together with the God with us…the humanized God, we can sing and celebrate because the consoling Lord comes down to be with his people and with him, we applaud before the good news that reaches us, from this Dominican network of solidarity that is gestating compassion, hope and liberation.

The word became flesh and speaks to us

“Alleluia, alleluia on Christmas Day!”

Jesus is already among us sharing our humanity. He camps and stays among us. He never tires of communicating his word, his life, and his peace with all of us who inhabit the common home…and in time, in walking together in history, we have become mediators of his word, preachers of life-giving good news.

To love and nothing but love

“Alleluia, alleluia on Christmas Day!”

As grace and truth came with Jesus Christ, becoming life-giving forces and the reason for our shared joy, let us feel invited to create day by day relationships of friendship, of healing and saving love.

Let us contemplate his glory

“Alleluia, alleluia on Christmas Day!”

In the history of suffering peoples, like Myanmar, we may one day contemplate his glory…A Child renews our hope, our desires to live in justice, in peace from a compassionate heart…May the Dominican month for peace help us to unite our voices to sing to the rhythm of the Andean peoples.

“Alleluia, alleluia on Christmas Day!”
