Aside from providing the opportunity for sharing best practices among the fraternities\, exploring opportunities for collaboration\, and promoting fellowship among the priests and brothers\, the gathering also intends to elect an international representative to the annual meeting of the International Commission of the Dominican Family in the General Curia of the Order of Preachers.
