DESCRIPTION:Capitulum Generale 2019\nTo the capitulars\, guests and translators of the General Chapter of Bien Hoà 2019 \nGo Vap Feb 18\, 2019 \nDear brothers and sisters \nFraternal greetings from Vietnam. \nThe brothers and sisters of the Dominican family of Vietnam are very happy to welcome you on the occasion of the General Chapter of Bien Hoà\, which will take place from July 7th to August 4th 2019 at the Seminary of Xuân Lộc. \nI think you are a little worried about visas. We are aware that it is important. Since August 2018\, we have submitted the first list of 71 participants and all have been approved by the Office of Religion Affairs. We have to send this list to the Department for immigration\, it’s a bit more complicated. We had several meetings with members of that Department. Today I can already assure you that visas will be given. Thank you very much for your patience. Here are some important information about visas: \n1. Yours visas are valid from July 1st to August 10th\, 2019. \n2. We have attached the list of the first 71 participants\, the second list has been tabled and is still on the desk of the Office of Religious Affairs. When we have the second list approved \, I will send it to you. \n3. I need your help. The Department for Immigration will fax the documents directly to the Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate in your country and not to us or you. So\, please let us know which is the nearest Vietnamese Embassy or consulate\, of course in your country\, where you want to get the visa. In your country there may be a Consulate closer to home than the Embassy\, so this would avoid you to go to the Embassy. \n4. If there is no Vietnamese Embassy in your country\, and only in this case\, you can obtain a visa at Tan Son Nhat Airport (SGN). \nOnce again\, welcome to Vietnam. The airport closest to the location of the chapter is Tan Son Nhat (SGN; Hochiminh City). You are very welcomed if you come a few days before and stay a few days after the Chapter.
