The International Liturgical Commission of the Order of Preachers (CLIOP) convened from June 28th to July 1st, 2022 in Rome for their annual plenary meeting. In the fall of 2020 the Master of the Order appointed new members of the Commission for a 6 year term. It was also expanded to include a sub-commission on liturgical music.

The SMI Board met in person in Rome last May (4-6).
During the sessions were presented: the report of the year 2021 (ACG Trogir, 2013, 203), the new Statute of the Fund for Initial Formation (ACG Biên Hòa, 2019, 228); approved by the Master of the Order and his Council in November 2021 and the report of SMI to the General Chapter of Tultenango 2022.

As of Monday May 30, the Dutch and Belgian Dominicans will form one province. This will take place by the reading of a decree by the Master of the Order Fr. Gerard Francisco Timoner III OP who will visit the Netherlands for this occasion.

In the Pauluskerk in Antwerp (Belgium), which is full of art from past centuries, a ‘new St. Dominic’ was revealed on Saturday 7 May, made by the Dutch painter Egbert Modderman.
