The Dominican Laity of the Province of St. Joseph in the northeastern USA held their 2025 elective Assembly at Immaculate Conception Seminary in Huntington, Long Island from October 24 – 26, 2025.
Fr. Ignatius Schweitzer, OP, Promotor for the Laity for the Province of St. Joseph, and Fr. Cristóbal Torres Iglesias, OP, General Promoter for the Laity, presided and preached at daily liturgies, in addition to offering talks on the spiritual life and the recent General Chapter of Krakow and its message for the Dominican Laity. Assisting at the daily liturgies was Deacon Walter Wiggins, President of the Rosary Fraternity in Summit, New Jersey, who was also elected to the Lay Provincial Council.
The newly elected Councilmembers are:

- Secretary: Ms. Mary Kay Welgoss, OP
- Treasurer: Mr. Eric Curiel, OP
- Alternate Delegate DLIPC: Deacon Walter Wiggins, OP
