The Dominican friars of the Province of St. Augustine in Argentina and Chile present the video documentary album We Have Seen His Glory. The production includes 18 liturgical songs of the Easter Triduum—most of them original and others taken from the classical and Gregorian repertoire—presented together with images and interviews that illustrate their meaning and the profound experiences of friars and laypeople during these central days of our faith.
The musical interpretation was performed by the Schola cantorum of the friars and the choir of the Ephesus Project, both from the Convent of San Pedro Telmo in Buenos Aires. The original compositions and musical arrangements of the repertoire were composed by Bro Pablo Caronello OP, Bro Martín María Cescutti OP and Bro José Antonio María Poblete OP. All the music will be distributed by the academic and classical music label AVANT RECORDS.
The album offers a musical itinerary in itself, but we wanted to make it explicit and expand it through images and interviews that bring out the profound meaning of all these liturgical signs and gestures. For this reason, the production is made up of mini-chapters, divided into seasons corresponding to the days of the Triduum, which invite the viewer to progressively enter into a true symbolic, theological, and spiritual experience, based on the liturgical treasure of these days.
The video documentary album HEMOS VISTO SU GLORIA will be available in its entirety on a streaming website, specially designed for the project, from 9 p.m. on Friday, April 11th. Access is free of charge. From Saturday, April 12th, it will also be available on our YouTube channel. The album will be available on Spotify, Apple Music, and other streaming platforms on Friday, April 11th.
