Handbook on Climate Change and Human Rights Education for Youth to Be Released in the Philippines

On 16 July, Dominicans for Justice and Peace (UNOP) and the Dominican Family for Justice and Peace and the Care of Creation, Philippines (DFJPCC) will release the handbook Climate Change and Human Rights Education for Youth in the Philippines (CCHRE).
The CCHRE provides an overview of how climate change affects human rights, with a special focus on the situation in the Philippines. It also provides practical guidance for integrating climate change and human rights thinking into school activities and curricula. The main objective of the launch of this program is to raise awareness of the CCHRE in schools and in civil society in the Philippines.
The launch of the Climate Change and Human Rights Education for Youth in the Philippines (CCHRE) handbook will take place on 16 July 2024, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, at the University of Santo Tomas (UST), Buenaventura Garcia Paredes, O.P. (BGPOP) Building Lobby, Manila. After the launch event, lunch will be served.
