Vice-Province of Saint Pius V reelects Vice-Provincial

The Vice-Province of St. Pius V, Democratic Republic of Congo, has reelected Brother Augustin Wiliwoli Sibiloni, OP

On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, the brothers of the Vice-Province of St. Pius V, gathered in chapter, re-elected Brother Augustin Wiliwoli Sibiloni, OP, as Vice-Provincial for a second term. The Master of the Order confirmed his re-election on the same day.

One day later, Brother Augustin accepted the office entrusted to him by his confreres for a final four-year term.

Born in Isiro, the Democratic Republic of Congo, on October 25, 1977, Br. Augustin received the habit of the Order on August 8, 1999, made his first profession the following year, and was solemnly professed in 2005. He was ordained to the priesthood on August 19, 2012, by Bishop Julien Andavo of Isiro.

He holds degrees in Philosophy and Theology from the Catholic University of Congo and completed his doctorate in Philosophy at the Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium. Before his first election as Vice-Provincial, he served as superior of St. Martin de Porres House in Kisangani and as syndic of St. Dominic Convent in Kinshasa.

In May 2021, he was elected Vice-Provincial of the Vice-Province of Saint Pius V in the Democratic Republic of Congo for a first term, while continuing to teach at several universities in the DR Congo.
