The Incorrupt Body of Pier Giorgio Frassati at Santa Maria sopra Minerva

On the occasion of the Jubilee of Youth, the incorrupt body of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati — which has rested in the Cathedral of Turin since 1990 — will arrive in Rome for the first time, at the Basilica of Santa Maria sopra Minerva, where it will be welcomed by the Dominican friar community. The relic of the young man from Turin will arrive at the basilica in the evening of July 25 and will remain on display for veneration until August 4, as confirmed by the Diocese of Rome, highlighting that this is the first time the blessed’s body will be venerated in Rome.
