Today’s Eucharist was presided over by Friar Pius Pietrzyk, OP, of the Province of Saint Joseph, USA, and the homily was preached by Friar Gregory Pearson, OP, of the Province of England. In his homily, Friar Gregory said: “The message of salvation that God communicates to us through the Incarnation, in the ‘language’ of the history of his people, is a message for all humanity. Our task as preachers is nothing less than to communicate that saving message to the men and women of our world, and that means both knowing the ‘language’ of the Incarnation and being able to show how it speaks to all those whom Christ came to redeem.”
